I love the mental toughness tonight, but I don't love being at a talent disadvantage against the best teams again.

Wish you the best, Gordon.  Hope you come back at 100%.

So, I'm guessing we had a timeout and didn't use it in that situation once again?

It wasn't as egregious this time as it was at many times in the past, but I still call a timeout there and set up a play for a three, ESPECIALLY against a very subpar Cavs defense.

Cavs are old......they will break down as the season goes on.  IT is not going to save them.

This^

The Cavs showed me little, the entire team is still LBJ.

By the end of the season after 82 games they'll be an old looking team.

Kyrie getting the IT treatment.

Kyrie hasn't;t taken it to the hoop at all in the 4th

TBF he has had some very good passes to open teammates. Its probably the correct play, and if he forced the issue some people will say "same old ballhog", but because of that same people will say "not a leader coz he deferred"

I agree. 10 assists for him tonight, he played very well overall, just came up short at the end.

Lebrin still the greatest.  What can you do?
You can choose not to guard him with a clearly gassed Jaylen Brown who clearly had nothing to give in the end of the 4th.

Nah, too tough for Brad to recognize.

Who are you going to put on him, Ojeleye? We had no Hayward nor Morris. Too tough for kozdolev to recognize?

Kyrie passed well late. Really excited about Brown and Tatum. Most importantly, hope Hayward’s doing okay.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

[dang] kind of fell apart there in the last minute.  can't guard lebron 1 on 1 and then give up a wide open 3 to Love.  we could have won this game but the offense kind of stagnant in that last minute.  we expected kyrie to come up with the big shot but it didn't happen.

i also don't know why we didn't call a TO and draw up a play there in the closing seconds unless we didn't have any left??

Good effort by this Celtics team. Best wishes to Hayward. The young Celtics are coming on Jaylen Brown with 25! Tatum with 14 and 10. If we shoot better than 25% from 3 for the game and we win this.
well said. imagine this team with experience playing together and less nerves by the kids.

i thought the season was over earlier, but now? with CBS anything is possible!!!!!  ;D

I know right we should have put Ojele on him

Listen, by April?

We will beat these guys. Brown just hung 25 on the Cav's. Smart and Rozier are  better than anything they have.

Cav's are praising the Lord for beating Irving, Horford and young guys by a bucket.

Jaylen Brown needs to go back to the drawing board and work on his 3s

he missed several open(crucial) ones

we should have won the game

7-1 run to end the game?  *facepalm*

Cmon Kyrie

Maybe let tatum take one of these shots next time

What are you talking about? Kyrie didn't take shots most of the game until the 4th. In that span, he probably only took 2-3 shots, two of them were down the wire shots.

I have a feeling Brown will take advantage of this terrible injury to Hayward. He looked very confident out there.
