I think no RWIII tonight , no matter what the score is. I believe he's been sent to Maine.

I'm hoping for the quick start! Go Celtics. Hoping for some Robert Williams matched up against Mitchell Robinson.

Jalen looks energized. Hayward with the 3.
Like a hockey line, here comes Theis and Baynes together.
I really like this now.

I'm glad Hayward is handling the ball instead of Rozier. I expect the offense to be much more solid in the 2nd unit with this.
That's a terrible foul call on Theis, but I guess it's a makeup call for the fouls committed on Hayward.
Rozier being treated like a turnstile by the knicks again
Gordon has unbelievable vision

Not bad bench comes in with a7 point lead. Now it is 8 points.
Hayward seems to be getting better with each game. Fun to see it.
Loving Theis, but can't help but hanker for some TimeLord.
Gordon has unbelievable vision
yep with him handling the ball is so refreshing
no stupid shots
looks for open guys

Not sure if it's TimeLord, or TIMELORD!
Latter is pretty nice actually.
Loving Theis, but can't help but hanker for some TimeLord.Timelord is so good he is in Maine right now. I think we are going to need to cheer for these 13 players because I don't seeing William's getting much playing time this year
Lee made that 3 because Rozier gambled and get our defense out of position.
The time off looks like it was good for Brown.
Brown and Hayward off the bench might make a deadly duo, scoring wise.
Terry giveth and taketh away
Oh my Lord, refs, do you have a quota on whistles blown or what? It's so frustrating how inconsistent the officiating is from night to night.
MIght be Jaylens night to shine tonight
Rozier follows up bad plays with good plays, then bad plays, then good plays.

Not just this game. It seems to be happening a lot this season.
I don’t think smart should take 3 pointers early in the shot clock.
Mudiay been solid for the Knicks probably their best playerVonleh looks good too. Very active big man.
defense not good enough
need to hold teams under 50 per half
Great first half. Time to bury then in the 2nd. Bench with 29 effeciently.. Hayward, Brown, Rozier, Theis and Baynes on the bench, I could see a bunch of games with the bench giving this team 50 points + per game

Yeah, we gave up almost 60 to them in the first half. That’s terrible
Let me tell ya...this team is better with Smart missing lots of threes. They've scored more points this half than they have all season and?
Smart is missing threes.

Those were two annoying threes, but he's been shooting much less this season. He's averaging 4 assists to 5.3 shot attempts per game. I'm cool with that.

Pace has something to do with that. We have taken 3 more shots than the KNicks.
Defense looks actually pretty good to me. A few gambles here and there, but that's fine, that's how you blow teams out..
Okay Smart, enough of the threes.
He was ready for a stretcher but now he's fine. I've seen this too many times this year...

The refs have been rewarding it. Smh
Smart is such a smart player and excellent playmaker when he's not looking to jack up threes. He played that fastbreak perfectly - didn't force it to Kyrie, pushed the pace, and went left to distract the defense away from Tatum trailing on the right, who nailed the J.
Starting unit has been looking for real the last three games.
The tentativeness and over passing or whatever you want to call that sh*& from the early season seems over.
kyrie is a beast

think brads got it figured out now?
we roll with this all year and playoffs?
I like Horford working down low like he has tonight.
Is Hardaway this good against other teams or just us?

How about a timeout before they come all the way back on us?The knicks have outscored the Celtics this quarter by a single point. One.

Where's Jaylen? Is he on a minutes restriction?
Jaylen's job right now is scoring and being efficient off the bench. He has been exceptional at this this game.Where's Jaylen? Is he on a minutes restriction?
It may just be me, but when Jaylen starts getting it going on offense he hardly ever sees a lot of PT after coming off the floor.
Bad offense the last several possessions. Need to get Hayward back involved with the playmaking rather than Rozier.

Yes, I now see how that lead is being evaporated as we type. ::)How about a timeout before they come all the way back on us?The knicks have outscored the Celtics this quarter by a single point. One.
You realize how scoring works, right? It's temporally relative, meaning it changes in time. When I posted that it was a two possession game after us being up at one point by like 15. ::)
That's not a crazy post given that this is a clear and well-known weakness of Brad's...
TIMEOUT!!!!!!!!
How anyone can watch this ga,e and claim Jaylen Brown has a low BBIQ is beyond me.

The Garden crowd is unusually quiet tonight. Disappointing for a nationally televised game. No doubt Boston has some of the best sports fans though.

"Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in awhile." Just because it didn't hurt us tonight doesn't make it the right decision, as the million other examples of Brad waiting too long to call a timeout have shown us throughout the years.
But, I must say, that Brad apologism sure does look sexy on you, Hwang ;)

Brown doesn't have a low BBIQ, This game showed that. He passed when he should have, took it to to the whole and finished when he was supposed to and hit shots when he was supposed to. He did the same thing all last year. He has improve his passing overall, but especially when driving to the basket. He has been an All-NBA defender for most of the last year and a half while taking on the best wing offensive players in the league. Bad BBIQ players don't do that. How anyone can watch this ga,e and claim Jaylen Brown has a low BBIQ is beyond me.
?? What exactly has Brown done tonight to disprove the years of evidence that we have that he has a poor BBIQ??
Just because he's playing well tonight does not change the fact that he has a poor BBIQ. In fact, it kind of proves the opposite - he's playing much better tonight because he's coming off the bench and getting better looks as a more primary offensive option, i.e. he doesn't contribute that much else to the game.
When he's not a more primary option, he's not that good of a ball player, especially offensively, as he doesn't make others around him better due to his limited court vision, poor passing, and an inability to really make plays for others.
I like Brown and hope he continues to play like he is tonight, specifically being more aggressive taking it to the hole. But you keep beating this drum with no reasoning behind it at all.

Oh, it's fun - much better than most of the first twenty games.
I've only had like three or four negative comments tonight, hwang, and most of them were deserving Rozier criticisms with only one Brad criticism. So cut me some slack - we all can't be Mr. Rogers' level optimists like you! ;D
Man I hope it's nothing serious with Kyrie.
now irving will miss 12 games

I don't think Jaylen was ever a low IQ player. I've never seen it. Everyone makes mistakes but Jaylen seems to think the game very well.
Held the Knicks to 16 points in the 4th quarter. Heck yeah I'll take it.After giving up almost 60 in the 1st half.

A proper whupping of hapless but pesky nix.
On to the next lads!

He sat out the playoffs without injury. Probably just a hang nail and/or a branding thing--pitchers are pretty cool fresh off the Sox win.

Good win C's!. Everyone played pretty well. We are going to win a lot of games if we play like this every night.Strong bench performances. — Brown, Hayward, Theis, Rozier

If anything he probably overthinks the game at times. When he’s aggressive and plays instinctively he tends to make the right play more often than not. I like how he didn’t keep bombing away from 3 when it was obvious he was having a lot more success attacking the rim
excellent game offensively -- this is the offense we expected to see from the get-go. came around later than I would have liked but if this is how they play the rest of the season, I'll take it. only negative I have for the game is too many 3's by Smart and considering I never complain about his 3's, that's saying something
Kyrie played too many minutes.Huh? 30 minutes is not too much. In fact, the minutes distribution was almost perfect: Nine guys with more than 17 minutes each, but none over 31. Can't get much better than that.
