  • About five seconds after 17 O'clock!!
However, as far as an actual play goes, I remember jumping out of my seat and almost going over the balcony when this happened...

  • The good ole days.
Espy's victory speech, slept on but one of my favorite moments.

I loved this past year's team the  most but that 2008 team was a great group.

Scroll to about 4 minutes in.  At 4;20 when they are announced the winners (beat out the Red Sox and those [dang] Giants for the Espy that year) they get up there and tell Ray to give the speech and he says in Los Angeles.

"Another win in LA"  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  classic..

lol at Michael Strahan and Derek Fisher around 4:30.

Priceless.

something i always notice in videos/pics like this...... "yea, KG is 6'11" my ***!"  he's a good 3" min tallker than Perk there, listed they are an inch apart.

"It ain't about me.  It's about us."  - KG, interview with John Thompson, 2005 All Star Game.

kg is 6-11 w/o shoes i believe, so its perk's measurement that's inaccurate (or other players for that matter)

i think dirk is listed as only 6'9 in fiba

There are so many, I can't pick one, but, one that hasn't been given much love on was Paul Pierce's dagger 3 right in LeBron's grill game 5 in Miami.

I was in Santa Monica and a Celtics sports bar watching this, wow!!  Everyone went beserk!  Great memory of my trip to the US!

  • Yup
Loved Leon Powe's 2008 finals game two performance, especially the length of the floor drive and dunk...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdzEKPRsGOg

I remember commenting on that last one that I can't ever remember a big man going that long down the court without really being contested at all and ending up with a dunk.  It was so demoralizing to the Lakers to have Powe beat them.  A performance for a lifetime for Leon.
Yup

I think I've been to that bar. It's a Boston bar right?

I watched a Celtics Lakers game there on my birthday a couple years ago. First time in LA. Family that I was staying with thought it was odd that I was visiting LA and going to a Boston bar.

So much fun and so worth it

We'll miss Ray Allen.. But then again, beating him and the heat will make Banner#18 much more sweeter!  ;D
