Man, watching all these clips makes you remember just how much fun 2008 was. I can remember watching them early in the season amazed at how good they were and knowing the rest of the NBA was in big trouble.

Haha..some Laker fans I've chatted with absolutely HATES this...thought he was "posing", lol.

I can understand the angst, though. They saw LA's season slipping away, and was mostly upset at the 132-91 shellacking that they recvd.

I'd be upset at Paul Pierce for that, too - if I was a Laker fan.

Greatest. Thread. Ever

Watched every video on here. Loved reliving those moments!  :)
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I have a photo of this play framed and on my wall.

Ray Allen blowing by Sasha to get with the C's up in 3 points and around 16 seconds left in Game 4 of the Finals for a layup. This sealed the win and going up 3-1 I was certain the C's would win the title.

Oh man this was such an amazing play. I dont know if it was the play itself or just the fact that I hate sasha so much. Ray literally left Sasha shorts at the three point line. Amazing.

Too many to remember. Here's another one:

This was the first Celtics game I saw :) Great play!

I watched some NBA games when I was a kid in the 90s but then I stopped following it (because I could no longer see it on tv here in Belgium). In 2010 I tried NBA2K10 out of curiosity because I used to play the NBA Live games before that. I didn't know a lot of players on the teams (I hadn't even heard of the Bobcats at all ;)), but I did know KG, Ray and Paul (and was suprised they were on the same team), so I started playing the Celtics. I watched the whole ECF and Finals in 2010 and have been a fan ever since. I especially like KG and Rondo, but I love the whole team and never give up attitude.

I was in Boston last year in September, so I did not get to see a game, but I really want to come and see a game this season.

Espy's victory speech, slept on but one of my favorite moments.

I loved this past year's team the  most but that 2008 team was a great group.

Scroll to about 4 minutes in.  At 4;20 when they are announced the winners (beat out the Red Sox and those [dang] Giants for the Espy that year) they get up there and tell Ray to give the speech and he says in Los Angeles.

"Another win in LA"  BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  classic..

Great thread!

So many great memories and great plays.  Mine is the Ray buzzer beater at Charlotte.  As Tommy said "Improbable!"  Truly an awesome play... as so many of them were.
