It's unfortunate that Celtics Fans now see playing a horrible, depleted Piston team as good news but here it is ---

The Pistons have lost 14 out of 17 and are a terrible team that has been decimated by injuries.  Bynum, Prince and noted Celtics killer Ben Gordon are out tonight.

The Celtics will be playing only their second game in the last 6 days so again are well rested.  They are playing a terrible team that is missing more key players than they are.  The C's desperately need this win though, as easy as it should be.  The team has lost confidence and is playing with no urgency right now.

This win tonight will hopefully give the C's some momentum heading into their difficult upcoming schedule.  Even against a team as bad as Detroit, it could be the shot in the arm that this struggling team needs...
Yes exactly.  C's have too many things going for them, not least of which is desperation.  They need a win, any sort of win, very badly.  For some reason they seem to have good focus on the road.  Gordon is out.  It might be close for a while but this really should be a decisive win.

Wow, we're 6 point favs. Surprises me a little.

If we don't get this by more than six I blame the refs.

The Detroit announcers love Rasheed --- they have repeated his "Ball don't lie" quote 10 times already tonight.

I would say Jerebko, but he has been playing pretty well lately. Just don't let it be Austin Daye. I hate that guy.

As Celtics fans we need to look at teams like Portland and Detroit and the injuries they have suffered before whining about them.

Perk told Ben Wallace to "get that Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. out of here"  Then he just told Rip to "get that Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. out of here"  good audio on the feed tonight from Detroit
