This is certainly possible (and not terribly surprising), but it could also be posturing depending upon Marc's source.  I fully expect that there will be similar leaks after every single one of KD's visits this weekend:  "Durant's visit with Team X went exceptionally well.  He was pleasantly surprised  when they did/said ABC.  Decision is going to be tough, but he is now leaning toward them".

If the clips have to trade Blake to get Kd, we have plenty of assets to land Blake.

Better off trading Jordan, better floor spacing. They could outscore teams by 20 every game.

The amazing sales pitch is exactly what Brad will do to KD.
So our chances are between 2 to 10% of landing KD.
I'll take it !

Hearing that Dwight Howard is leaning toward either Boston or Atlanta. Doesn't look like anybody else is left in the picture.

“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Whiteside going to heat or Dallas according to Wojo.
If Whiteside  goes to Heat, can they afford another max guy?
(assuming he will want max or close to it)

Yeah they can. They have enough space for one max guy basically from what I've read. They could create more with trades though I'm sure.

The Vertical: OKC deal with Durant is 90 percent done.

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Got a link? I'm following them on twitter but I don't see anything. Also, they can't negotiate yet right?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

What does 90% done even mean? He signed "Kevin Duran" on the contract?

I'm trying hard not to doubt you Coach, but seems you're just trying to insinuate we have no chance at him and we should just give up and fire Danny and whatever else you like to say here.

I predict we're getting at least one of those two, but something that crossed my mind is what if we got both of those guys? Would anyone have a problem with Horford/Howard as our starting frontcourt next year? Since it sounds like Durant's not coming here, we could use the leftover cap room to add both of them.

Horford at PF and Dwight at C? I like the sound of that. Jae Crowder will be our starting SF going from there lol.

I think Durant to OKC is contingent on them clearing room and signing Horford. I just dont see any reason for them to open a gaping hole in their lineup and all of a sudden start trying to clear cap to go after the guy if KD wasnt more or less demanding it.

Pure speculation on my part, but right now I think if KD returns, Horford will come with.

Not the Vertical, and it's his friend who's saying it, but here: http://theundefeated.com/features/expect-a-happy-ending-for-okc-in-durants-free-agent-drama/
