Kings really want to make the playoffs.

The Sacramento Kings are reportedly interested in adding Jeremy Lin to help their playoff push.

Lin has been the frequent target of trade rumors, with the Blazers, Pelicans, and Sixers all gauging interest. The Hawks are asking for a first-round pick in exchange for Lin.

The Kings are rumored to be using Zach Randolph's expiring contract as their main trade chip.

Hard to imagine Lin could be the difference in making the playoffs for a team, especially in the west.

Actually in a race as tight as the West is, a small improvement is more likely to make a bigger difference.  He's on an expiring contract so doesn't impact their cap space for next offseason.  It would be a good move as long as they don't give up a 1st for him.

Well, we know that they're not giving up this year's first. ;)

I'd offer them Rozier for a future protected first. If he played for them like he's playing for the C's it's a guaranteed lottery pick this year for the C's. :-)

Cool. He could put up flashy numbers for SAC.

ATL is rumored to want a pick...
