right now orlando is pounding them. Do you think if they lose and we beat the hawks we may have a chance to catch them? We do play them once more and we would have the tiebreaker if we win that game. I think it is possible.

It would take a complete collapse by Cleveland for us to catch them.

This is going to be an interesting finish!
"The emblem of a warrior, it's the swagger of an athlete, a champion and dynasty, it's gifted, golden, genuine and glorious. It is a lower-case god. It's the goat. The greatest of all time. What's G? It is the heart, hustle and soul of the game."

conspiracy theory....cleveland throws the game in order to try and have orlando get the 2nd seed so orlando would have homecourt against us in the 2nd round

Something is going on because now all of a sudden the Cavs are going to get blown out? Strange.

The Cavs still have to worry about the Lakers getting home court throughout.

Hmm... why do you think they would prefer to face Orlando instead of Boston?

the cavs have homecourt throughout the eastern conference finals. i think, even tho orlando has played well this season, that we cause more or a threat of pulling out a 7 game series (this is IF kg is near 90-100%).  i think orlando doesnt have a shot in a 7 game series when the cavs have homecourt.

Check the Cavs records in the last 2 seasons versus Boston and Orlando. I bet a large majority of Cavs fans think very differently than you.

you might be correct, however, playoff basketball is VERY different than regular season games.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Cavs can't deal with Howards presence. He's a big Lebron deterrent in the paint and they have to double team him on the other end. If Lebron can't wreak havoc getting to the rim Clevelands offense stagnates, and having to double team is never good for a defense, especially against a team with shooters like Orlando. I think the Magic could take the Cleveland in 7.
