Wow that game felt very fast. Was just doing some chores and all of a sudden the entire 2nd half is done  :P

Solid win after a really slow start.  Heat just ran out of steam.  Not enough shooting.  Held them to 85 points which is remarkable in the modern NBA.

Pat Riley has some retooling to do.

Good win.  Couldn't throw it in the ocean to start the game, Hauser aside, but the defensive effort was generally strong throughout.

I enjoy when Tatum brings his temper with him.  Not sure what had him simmering but I liked what it brought out of his game in the second half.

Want to give Scheierman a shoutout.  He came in late in the 1st quarter and made back to back good defensive plays.  The momentum changed entirely after those two plays.  We cut the lead down to just 6 to end a horrendously bad 1st quarter.

I don't know if he'll ever become an NBA rotational player (honestly I have doubts), but hopefully his defense is better than expected and he can knock down some 3's.  3rd string 3 and D kinda guy.

It really is crazy how good we are on the road compared to at home

Wednesday a home game. Should we be worried

Spurs @ Boston? Yeah I think we should since it's a Garden game.

Why did they start Davion Mitchell ahead of Terry Rozier?

First time in years I completely forgot the Celtics had a game until I saw the result later!  Glad they won.  Looks like Scheierman got some run in meaningful minutes.  Did he show any signs of looking like an NBA player?
Yup

Heat are really not good. But Boston woke up finally and did their job. Finish this stretch strong and get a home win.

I remember he made one nice pass, but for the most part he blended into the scenery for me.  Which is fine, he didn?t screw up, but he did not look impactful to me.  Defensively it was impossible to tell.  The Heat were 8 of 40 on open and wide open 3s.  Did Baylor leave his man wide open like the rest of the Celtics because the Heat couldn?t buy a bucket and the plan was to pack the paint, or did he (and the rest of the team) get sucked in too close to the paint on defense, lose his man, and get lucky?

If the Heat shot in this game like they did in the 2023 playoffs, we might have lost by 20.

Tatum seems to always want to play road games. He's said that in the past.

I think tomorrow is fully Hospital Celtics. I expect Tatum, Brown, Horford, Holiday, White and Porzingis to ALL sit. It'll be a Pritching Hour with a sprinkle of Hauser, Kornet and the young guys.
