Anybody still believe that KG is washed up?

KG will get a 2 year $20 million contract. Probably from the Celtics. I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

I know Wilcox has been playing well, but I really wanted Doc to put JJJ in first.

Why did Ray Allen not take a shot while he was in?

Why did Ray Allen not take a shot while he was in?

Because he didn't get an opportunity?

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Turnovers may be our undoing this season if we don't ever get around to addressing it.

Well wouldn't it be in the Celtics self interest to GET him some shots?

We were getting plenty of easy shots, so if the shot isn't there, it isn't there. Other than Pierce pressing one or two shots, there was nothing to give him.

Someone please help me with the exact verbage, but years ago Tommy predicted that Pierce may someday be the greatest scorer in C's history.  He wasn't suggesting that Pierce would become the best offensive player (Bird), but could become the best scorer.  Not sure I fully understand the distinction nor am I sure I have Tommy paraphrased apprpriately, but it was something like that -- and it was long ago.  He got a little heat for the remark.
