Wow

So sad hearing all the boos from the home fans, but totally deserving.

No boos during the 18 game losing streak a few years back.  That team was busting tail while losing.

Tough, tough, tough to watch.

Booooooooo Celts!  Come on fellahs.   :'(

You're exactly right, Redz.  This round of boos is deserved.  It's not that they are losing, it's that they are quitting.

I'm with ya.

It's laugh worthy at this point.  Like a sick, cruel joke.  A team of posers.

They aren't quitting. They have already quit!!!!!

Sorry, but it was obvious quite some time ago that Doc lost his team. I think Danny has some managerial tasks ahead of him, or this team might be a 6th seed.

Eh, forget what seed the C's get this year.  Doesn't matter.  They won't make it to the ECF.

The big question is how can Danny Ainge get started on rebuilding this team?  If he doesn't make some bold, genius moves this summer the C's might be headed for a long period of mediocrity.

Right now the only player on the C's I would be sad to see go is Rondo.  Though it would be a shame if Paul doesn't retire as a Celtic.

danny will not wallow in the middle. he will tear it up., ray will not be re-signed, and PP will be traded. he will target 2012-2013 as the year when he can start to field a competitive team.

If we trade Paul and don't re-sign Ray it's because Danny wants the team to tank for the draft.  But we'd still be looking at a 9th or 10th seed in the crappy East so our draft position wouldn't be great.

Maybe we can trade Paul and sign and trade Ray for future draft picks.

Then after the lockout in '11-'12 we can trade KG's monster expiring contract for some talent or draft picks.

Its over for the big 3, and Perk bought into his own ego after Rasheed came on board. Rondo displays his ADHD from time to time, but most definitely a keeper. Ray, after the AS Break has displayed his abilities again, and seems to have gotten over the trade rumor jitters and whatever was physically ailing him

Doc and Thibs on the other hand, have no handle on their players. They lost the team before the season even started. Its just that the boys in green cruised through the first 1.5-2 months. Then, everyone adjusted to the C's 3 yr. old defensive scheme, and their was no counter-adjustment from Doc and Thibs. On the offensive end, they do not drive with the reckless abandon and desire displayed in 2007-08, and noone, I REPEAT, NOONE, is crashing the boards. Doc an Thibs have them retreating to ATTEMPT to play defense. You want to slow the other team down, crash the boards and make them work for possession of the ball.

What they need is Coach Boone from Remember the Titans. Make them crash the boards on both ends, and if you don't your on the bench. In the RTT Movie, it would be similar to the play where the Defensive Coach calls timeout and tells his players to Blitz all night long so that the other team will remember the night they played the Titans.

Just my 2 cents.

The Celtics should be disgusted and ashamed.

Total overreaction.

This team is sinking AT THE SAME RATE as the titanic.

Try and be optimistic!
