miami literally needs one pass to get an open three, on a night when they’re shooting 55% from behind the line. regardless of joe’s poor coaching, the player’s on the floor are to blame for their lack of defensive effort. this is pathetic.

Hot take, but Miami being 22-40 from 3 is not my issue. Our defense tonight has been horrendous and frankly, for large stretches our offense has been nonexistent too.  Just dumb basketball

It's not hard to stop Joe's offense.  Extend the ball and know your rotations.  Joe has not had an answer for this 2 years running now.

It's the free safety defense we have him playing. We end up giving up at least 2-3 wide open looks every single game by doing this crap. Getting way too cute with the defense gameplan.

the J’s might be scoring but their defensive effort tonight is pathetic. you can’t win a chip if you don’t play both sides of the court for 48 minutes. allowing someone as limited as herro to torch you at home is a joke.

I'm not sure what you're watching, but that's not on the Jays. They're getting screened off by Bam - with illegal screens no less - and it's the bigs that are playing way too far down low to contest it. That's literally what it is every single time, with the only other exceptions being when Jrue is playign his free safety defense and way too far off of his man.

It's the ridiculous defensive gameplan that is killing us - the same one that lost us the Finals in 2022. Wonder who we have to blame?
