What a great, underrated show with cinematography that is second to none. It’s probably not what you think. It’s basically a western for the 2020s, which requires the main characters to do some pretty nasty things to survive (the more things change in the West, the more they stay the same?). Anybody else enjoying it?

Beth beat that hippy girls butt in fist fight  :P.  Last week

My wife named her new deerhound puppy after Rip and Beth’s sort of adopted son .

We call him “ Boy” mostly …..but his real name is Carter …. ;D

We re old and enjoy it ,  I doubt the  20 somethings would understand or watch ,  ruff violence, ,it’s old school shown in modern terms of politics kinda …with animals , real people , great filmography …like when I was a kid there was series “ Dallas”.  ……but Yellowstone is a heavy R rating , not family show .  Not for children . It just moves too slow for teens tripping on sugar today can’t sit still 5 minutes or stop looking at their phones for 5 seconds . It will just bore children wanting robots and computer generated everything .  It has deep adult content ….has real actors and dialogue, etc .

We ve been wanting to see that really bad .  I like western history stuff , watched ton of John Wayne movies over and over.

I heard the 1883 is super good from a lot of friends.  I’ll enjoy stuff without computers in it . People had to speak face to face .

I don't like the Summer storyline at all.  I was encouraged when she went away for awhile.

I really enjoyed watching 1883 early this year.  I had not seen any of Yellowstone.  I am now hooked on Yellowstone.

It is mysterious why he is so attracted/loyal to her. My guess is he met his wife similarly and she reminds him a lot of her when they first met. I suspect we’ll get some background with flashbacks that show this.

Am I the only one that thinks the show has gone downhill over the last season up til now??

This season I feel like it’s become the Beth Dutton show.  Beth was one of my favorite characters and still is for the most part but this season I feel like watching her get in fights and spout off these ‘get off my lawn’ catch phrases has become the focus of the show.

Yep. They are struggling to find enough stories to keep it going. Lost a bit of it's soul in forcing storylines.

Still a solid show but it was a great show before.

Anyone dislike Beth as much as I do? Honestly, she’s so cringe and such a big bully that it’s hard to even watch her scenes. It feels like the writers were going for a very strong female role with Beth, but did so by appealing to all of the stereotypical worst qualities of a strong female character.

I also just find her character unbelievable. Even family isn’t going to put up with that level of narcissism and bullying from Beth. Feel like both her bullying/aggressiveness and Jamie’s spinelessness are a bit exaggerated.
