Anthony Davis is playing out of his mind.
It is about time.  He has been the Lakers biggest problem the last two years.  Just not playing like he should have been.

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Davis, LeBron, and Westbrook all healthy and playing.  Suddenly the Lakers aren't so dysfunctional.  Hmmmm.

It may not last.  Davis in particular may not hold up.  And they do still probably need a couple depth pieces to truly contend.  But healthy, this should not be surprising to people.

Were they not healthy to start the season? Feel like moving Russ to the bench and taking less 3’s has been the main reason for their improved play.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yep. Hammy

Ava Wallace: Bradley Beal has a hamstring strain, Wes Unseld Jr. said. Mentioned he’s in good spirits.  – via Twitter avarwallace

Thomas Bryant and Dennis Schroder supporting the bench also helps them as well. But yeah, AD playing lights out. Darvin Ham certainly turned it around making them a more balanced team by changing up their roles.

I have no idea what the prior one looked like, but this is a nice design.

Were they not healthy to start the season? Feel like moving Russ to the bench and taking less 3’s has been the main reason for their improved play.

Last season, it was something like 21 games where all 3 were available.  They did not come into the season knowing how to play together.  And Davis was coming off injury last season along with LeBron.  I don't know exactly but it does not seem like they started the season with all 3 100% or even 90%.  But that isn't the point.

People were saying that these 3 could never play together.  That the team was dysfunctional, that the pieces don't fit.  I think this is proving that they can play together.  The reason they didn't win more last season was mostly health.  Everything matters of course but now that they are healthy, and in particular Davis, they are a good team.  No need to over think this.  Davis and LeBron not healthy, team bad.  Davis and LeBron healthy, team good.  Westbrook matters some of course, just not that much in comparison.

Will be curious how lakers look tonight against Cleveland. Bucks win was very nice but beating two good teams in a row on the road would be really impressive.
