Also, Celts need to cut back on the turnovers which they had in the 1st half of game 1.

It's the #1 priority for sure.  I think we will need to get used to inconsistent starts on offense with the current starting lineup.  This is the same group that was mediocre on offense for all of last season.  Fortunately, they more than make up for it with elite defense.

I just want the starters to play clean basketball and set the tone for the first 6 or 7 minutes.  The scoring spurts should come when Hayward and Morris enter the game.

And defense has been a weakness of the Celts all season, so it was encouraging to see them stifle Indiana's offense in the 2nd half.

I know we nose dived defensively after all-star break, from top 3 to 8th overall. But I still worry far more about scoring the ball than playing defense.

Same here.  The Celtics always be prone to long scoring droughts, mainly because we don't have players who can generate free throws when the shots aren't falling.  This is why Hayward is so important to this playoff run.

Not sure I would call the 7th-best defense a weakness. They started the season with the best defense, obviously fell off but with Baynes back in the starting lineup, we should once again be elite.

Of all things to complain about, the defense isn’t where I would start.

And stifling Indy shouldn’t be all that surprising, they don’t have a go-to scorer.

TP to FLCF for that great Jaylen Brown stat of giving up just two points in 31 possessions against Bogdanovic. Not sure ANYONE could have done better.

If Brown turns into the defensive bulldog in this playoffs that I thought he would turn into this past season, that, along with Hayward playing like he has for the past month, could go a long way toward Boston getting past Milwaukee in the next round.

Me too. Since Baynes has returned into the starting lineup, he's given the team a much needed interior presence. And it also allows Horford to be more of a "point forward", distributing the ball when necessary, knocking down mid-range shots and being open in transition like when Kyrie stole the ball at the beginning of the game and dished it to Horford for the lay-up.

Hopefully Tatum learns how important this is and starts attacking. If Tatum can start getting himself to the line with regularity, that would be huge.

Why two days between games 1 and 2? I hate that.

Just as dumb: They allow only one day for the shift from Boston to Indy. Two days off makes a heck of a lot more sense for travel time.

Bruins home games might also be a factor to it.

Not this time. They were in Toronto last night, and again tomorrow night.

Would you really want 4 games on Monday and 4 games on Tuesday then none on Wednesday? Because that sounds like what you're proposing with your preferred rest schedule.
