I am delighted for Dallas but this was not a convincing win. They barely squeeked past LAC despite:

(1) LAC shooting 35% FG% 24% 3PT%
(2) Kawhi 7-17 FGA 15pts
(3) PG13 6-13 FGA 19pts after a couple late hoops
(4) Harden strong game but only 2-10 3PTA
(5) Westbrook 2-9 FGA
(6) Norm Powell 2-10 FGA

This does not bode well for their chances in the rest of this series.

Maybe I am speaking too soon. LAC keep clawing back. 3 point game.

Kleber pushes it from 3 to 6. Then Luka hits another killer 3. A step back 3 to push it back to 9. Two huge threes by Kleber & Luka.

Commentators talking about isolation. Not a lot of ball movement in this one.

LAC = 26 buckets. 14 assists. Only 53.8% assist rate. 14 assists vs 8 turnovers. A 1.75:1.00 AST:TOV ratio.

DAL = 30 buckets. 16 assists. A 53.3% assist rate. 16 assists vs 13 turnovers. Barely over 1:1 AST:TOV ratio. A 1.23:1.00 ratio.

Nice defense by Kleber on that Zubac post up. Stopped Zubac from being able to back him down. I don't think Gafford or Lively can do that.

That is a pretty high standard to place on one person. It doesn't seem reasonable. If Tatum and Brown wilt under the pressure, it will be Joe's fault?

We are by far the best team in the East.  If we get upset in the playoffs for the second season in a row, with an even better set of players, I would have to question Joe's ability to have the team ready.

I would feel the same way if we lost to any team other than Denver. With the Nuggets, it would depend on how the team lost.

If it's an early playoff exit, then fire Joe and ship Jaylen...blow up a Jay as I've had enough with the yearly failures.

It's championship or championship for Boston this szn. You ain't 64-18 for nothing.
