So Kemba returns, and suddenly Pritchard turns into a pumpkin/timid rookie?

He is a 44 percent 3 point shooter for the season.  Yet in these last two games in 17-18 min of court time,  only shot 2 three point shots.  No drives/chances at the basket.

IMO, he is a better than Teague already. Come PO time he will be even better, as he seems like a guy who picks up things fast.

The offense has stalled with Kemba back.  We cannot win a title with a ball dominant pg.  brads best coaching is ball movement and letting Jaylen and Tatum lead.  We need a facilitating pg that can pass and keep the ball moving

I agree with this.  Players are standing around..... the theme of last season

Plus late in game, non stop chucking around the three point line... and missing/clunking the rim

The offense has stalled with Tatum out, perhaps.  However, the offense looked fine for three quarters.

Yeah, it was the fourth quarter that killed them last night.  Too much settling & stagnation.

I disagree.  He is further ahead than a regular rookie

He has zero freedom to make plays. Even worse, nobody is passing to him.

Either by Stevens instruction or vets shutting him down

Like..."who do you think you are rookie??"

Then gotta build up Kemba's value first and then trade him for somebody who can play the 4

#JTJB (Just Trade Jaylen Brown)
#JFJM (Just Fire Joe Mazzulla)

It could happen.  Ainge traded Rondo mid season.  A surprise to many

I felt Kemba ignored Pritchard first game back. Was more cooperative with him, especially in 4th quarter, last night.

Teague seems to be a walking turnover; just reckless when he goes to paint.

It is up to Pritchard to re-assert himself in the games like he did earlier this season. Defenses are giving him more attention.

The good news is that he continues to play real hard defensively, creates a lot of ball pressure, which can create a lot of easy buckets.

The ball was in Pritchard's hands more before Kemba's return.   I would like to see more of the ball in his hand when Kemba is on the bench instead of Teague right now.

Two games.   Let's see how he looks as they go forward and Tatum is back on the floor drawing attention.

For the record, he's about a month older than Tatum.

I believe it's safe to say that Pritchard is an NBA-caliber player. This is what matters the most, given that we drafted him at #26. He's a very good shooter + ball handler. He also looks like a decent passer. Nothing special, but decent. Couldn't expect more from a 26th pick.

The kid is hungry and came in the league without complex. But for now he still made just a few good NBA games, which is promising, but we still don't know about what will follow (adaptation of teams to his weakness, his enhousiasm may get down downgrading a little his level, he may hit the rookie wall...).
hatever it is not our team and a perenial all star to adapt themself for a 26th pick of the last draft kid with 13 NBA games and 8/3/3.  It is not the priority to build his role but reintegrate Kemba is one. He is still learning a lot. He seems a hard working and good IQ guy so I think he is ready to fight to take Teague spot and try to find an active 15-20m spot in the PO.
