after winning banner 17...

somehow I am still expecting good ol' Danny boy to surprise us with another magical move on draft day..

a move that would somehow erase our doubts and fears regarding Posey's leaving and Cassell's pending return......

what are your thoughts guys?

it's been a dreamy season...but am still in this fantastic dream state...sure wish the dream never ends....

 :D

I'm preparing for some head-scratchers; posts will be filling this site when our picks are announced, or whatever actions are taken.

However, I am excited, and can't wait till the draft. Also, I think that there is a chance we won't really have even discussed the player we pick.

I am looking forward to the start of the player movement action.

I really want to see Ainge weasle into a few of the bigger multi-team trades that gets the Celtics one of the smaller name players that fill a hole on the Celtics bench.

It would be nice to trade 30th pick for 2 2nd round picks and fill some spots. trent plaisted and a shooting guard like JR giddens or kyle weaver..

am with wdleehi on this...would be happy to sneak in with any pending deals...

because it seems that the celts aren't that aggressive on this 30th pick of theirs...

not much attention were given to pre-draft workouts ... especially since we were in the midst of our championship run...

but hey....how much trade value would a 30th pick have anyway?   ???

Plaisted will be there at #60. I'm just worried about Ainge picking him at #30  :-X

Celtics do not need that many rookies.

Plus, of the guys that make it from the 2nd round, most are either undersized for their position or takes a couple of seasons to develop.

Hoping someone like Courtney Lee, Bill Walker, or CDR falls into our laps.  If not, I would have no problem trading the pick.

Serge Ibaka from Congo would be a good pick if available. Dude doesn't speak a word of English but seems to have a lot of potential and could be a steal.
