Sources:  Philly getting lots of calls about 2018 LAL pick, which could land #1 now that Lakers stand to lose more games after recent trades.  Not hearing any other high lottery teams willing to trade away pick in loaded draft.

Just out of curiosity, could we maybe make a separate thread where we ONLY post the trade that went through, and then use THIS thread for the rumors and reactions to it as well?

Idk I just feel like it's hard to keep track of what deals happened, especially if one doesn't come on here for a while.

We could maybe post them in bold or green font and also update them on to the OP?

Yeah, that's fine.

I only made that suggestion because honestly, when I came on here yesterday, I almost completely missed the Pelicans - Lakers trade that went down. Under the announcement was a lot more rumors and other posts so I missed it initially. :P

Let's avoid the debates of the trades on thread. There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss the success and failures of the teams in the final poll thread. Lets keep this thread to just trade announcements and rumors.

Alright, that's fine.  ;D

Boy though, reading back, that Pelicans - Lakers trade definitely caused a lot of arguments and some chaos on here.

I didn't think any team lost the trade, but believe there is no clear-cut winner at the moment (gamble from both sides, a lot depends on Clarkson's fit and impact on Pelicans, and Cousins and how he comes back from injury - oh and will LAL re-sign him and to how much).

Woj: "The Knicks are receiving a lot of calls about Kyle O'Quinn and Courtney Lee, and some preliminary offers as well, primarily from teams who expect to make and be in the playoffs this spring who could use an additional piece."

Stein reporting that WOJ sources are incorrect. In fact, the Sixers contacted the Jazz inquiring about a Fultz for Mitchell swap. Utah immediately shot the offer down.

This may indicate what many feel around the league about Fultz - that he may never regain confidence in his shooting form again.

These rumors can't help his confidence. It seems that Philly is losing confidence in his ability, which continues to deteriorate confidence and his value around the league.

Breaking: the Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards have reach an agreement on a trade. The Jazz will send Alec Burks and Rudy Gobert in exchange for Bradley Beal and Ian Mahinmi.

When reached for a comment, the Utah front office said, "We appreciate Rudy for all his efforts and welcome a multiple-time all-star Bradley Beal to our team. We look forward to a new exciting backcourt featuring two elite athletes, shooters, and scorers."

There were rumblings that, although Rudy Gobert has been a massive defensive fortress in his time on the court, the Jazz were concerned that Gobert would not be able to stay healthy moving forward.

The Jazz may be looking for a big to take some of Gobert's minutes inside, but they might also stand pat through the rest of the deadline. They are also looking to acquire a starting quality stretch forward for their expirings.

Think a few others missed it too but aren't all trades supposed to have a ESPN trade machine link?
