I want to see more of that closing lineup. They looked really balanced, tough defensively, lots of passing. Know where their shots are coming from.

I looked up that lineup, they've only played 11 minutes this year.

Smart is a must ....he smells blood once the C's get going and the rest react to his intensity

Kyrie was fantastic, Tatum was off his game again and not assertive.   Someone needs to tell him you're our second option.

Happy for Gordon, Horford was great down the stretch.

I think Jaren Jackson Jr. could be special for Memphis someday.

We live by three. and missed a lot in the first half but heated up in the second. and die by three.

I think he's our 3rd option after Morris. That is why Morris came back into the game late and did what Morris does. But that put back dunk last night by Tatum was special.

Actually Tatum was subbed back in for Morris between free throw attempts late in the 4th before Morris hit his two big shots down the stretch, but the refs forced Stevens to put Morris back in for Tatum because the substitution was illegal, then there was no break in play again until after the Celtics took control

I would like to see that whole sequence again because the way I saw it was that Brad subbed Morris in for Tatum and then the ref made him go back to bench and then for some reason he subsequently allowed the sub which made no sense to me. I thought they subbed Morris in for Tatum - disallowed it and then allowed it. Can someone provide that sequence on youtube? But regardless Morris is "Money" and I feel more confident in his shots than Tatum at this point.

You are 100% correct hpantazo. I was killing myself trying to find a full game replay and couldn't but then I realized I had taped the game. It was 95-94 Boston at the time with Horford at the line with 3:19 left. Brad tried to sub Tatum for Morris and it was not allowed. Morris went "money" mode from that point and thanks for clearing that up for me and thank you ref for not allowing the substitution.

I was worried at first, thinking what if Morris staying in instead of Tatum causes us to lose the game, and I was ready to blame the ref. Then Morris came through big time and it was all good!

the number of times coaches back into winning adjustments is mind boggling.

1002.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Only caught the first half. The blog was super patchy with the connection.

One guy on Reddit (or is it CelticStrong?) noted Hayward can't blow by Noah. I guess Hayward has never had the shiftiness that Pierce had - he needs his strength and confidence back in order to bang down jumpers to keep defenses honest.

I don't recall what he is referring to but I was encouraged by Hayward's play last night. I think he played a solid game. 6-11 shooting, 3 reb, 4 ast. He is not looking for his offense which is good on this team. He is looking to make plays. I have been down on him recently but last night gave me some hope.

I think he ended up making a mid-ranger over Noah. You can check out the "full highlights" by Timi on YouTube for that shot.

I think Hayward's shot has been so wobbly this year, Noah (and if I recall Conley) sagged back. The right play was the jumper.

Perhaps in a couple months Gordon will blow by these guys, not sure if this is a sign that we should be concerned about his athleticism at this point - but just wondering what people think.
