Who will start for Smart for the next... 2 games?

Jaylen?

Yeah, Jaylen started the other day when Smart was out.

They didn’t play well in the first half at all. Saved it in the 2nd half with some excellent defense. Take the win and on to get some reveng on Miami at home. Need to clean house with these teams.

Ok I must have missed something with Marcus Smart.  Did he get injured or something?

He got ejected because the refs needed to assert their dominance.

Ejected

Lost his cool about some bad calls. Went after a player. Probably getting suspended.

thats where i would go. i don't like our guard defense when we play Hayward/Tatum at the 2/3. Gonna be inetresting to see what the punishment is. He did charge somebody, and he did try to throw an (ineffectual) punch. Could see anything form 1-4 games.

He got ejected after several cheap fouls and two cheap technicals, blew a gasket and charged Bembry, ended up taking down a few officials along the way who were trying to hold him back.

Dam lucky they were playing the Hawks.

What is up with Morris?? He looks stoned.
Gotta start beating the weak sisters of the league and winning on the road. Gotta start somewhere. No better place than Atlanta. No better time than now.

That's some interesting terminology....

Stevens sounds pretty disappointed about Smart's behavior. He said he doesn't know what Bembry said to him, but you can't act that way and he deserved to be ejected, and that there are league policies for this stuff , he expects Smart to be disciplined.

Believe it or not but that Baynes, Ojeleye, Tatum, Brown and Rozier grouping that played early in the Fourth was excellent and really set the tone for defensive intensity. Maybe the young guys can bring it afterall.😁

They definitely got it done tonight, on both ends of the floor.

The turning point was Smart going after Bembry. I wouldn't be surprised if he did that in large part to just energize his teammates as the pace of the game was lethargic up to that point.

Since then, the Celts turned it on

And that left handed sky hook by Kyrie at the end of the game was insane.

Agreed. The team as a whole played with more fire after that.

Not sure what to make of that, though........
