Yeah, in the D-League the 2th seed faces the 8th seed in the 1st round of the playoffs. :D

I strongly recommend RidiculousUpside preview:

Money quote:
Quote
JR Giddens, on assignment from the Boston Celtics, is versatile and uber-athletic, but also very raw.  His scoring options are more hit-and-miss than anything, as he's not especially adept at creating his own shot or shooting the jumper.  He is a rookie, and therefore, understandably inconsistent.  He can dunk, which, like many is his best way to score.  Some nights, Giddens dribbles off his shoe and clanks jumpers, looking overwhelmed in the pro-game.  Others - he'll dominate like his first game against Bakersfield this season - 34 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, and 5 blocks.  He also has a sweet profile picture on his D-League page, if you're into clouds.

The game starts at 9.00 pm ET and can be watched in Futurecast: http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/dleague_webcasts.html

Working perfectly for me. Try to open this link with the WMP:

Bellow average game so far. Giddens hasn't done a lot. Sometimes it's really hard to understand why Trey Johnson isn't starting for a NBA team.

Watching the game right now.  Morris Almond is really a chucker, isn't he?  If there are less than 6 people on him, he's open.

Giddens really not shooting well tonight.

I am liking what I see from Giddens in the limited viewing I 've had tonight.  Seems to play smart -- lot of movement, looking to be in position for a rebound or feed, etc.
Celtics fan for life.

he's a really good player, he just gets SO nervous up here with the Celtics. i think he can be a pretty good contributor next year.

I don't know.  There is still going to be a lot of depth on the Cs next year.  He might get a few more minutes, but until he gets comfortable and/or Scal+TA are traded, it is a real uphill battle.

by pretty good contribution i mean he can fill Walkers role as "end of the game dunk specialist".

are you guys seeing he's leaping ability on the boards? he can jump out of the building.

Sloppy game.

Giddens reminds me a lot of Tony Allen defensively. He has terrific tools, but he needs to keep the focus and the concentration. He over-commits too easily, falls for head-fakes, etc. On the other hand, his rebounding is pretty much flawless - he's truly terrific for his position.  Offensively, he's a good cutter, I think, moving very well, quick footed, but once again I haven't seen him doing anything else at a high level. If I were Giddens, this Summer I'd essentially work on 2 things: outside shooting, especially on the catch, and defensive fundamentals.

If Trey Johnson could play a little bit smarter, he'd be a very solid NBA player. By far the best player on the floor.
