I think he is vastly over rated by this board in general.   With Kyrie day to day I would rather have Terry.

If rosier is walking at the end of the season and you might need every bit of salary in that Davis trade....

Good idea. I've always liked Saric. I also really question Rozier's intelligence on the court sometimes. He's got the talent, but sometimes he doesn't have the brains. You need to be more cerebral as a point guard, something Kyrie certainly is.

I don't see that in Rozier.

Terry tried too hard tonight in front of his family. Hurt his game.

I would trade Bird, Ojeleye cash and a second rounder for Saric. Not much more

I like Rozier better as a player.  But the extra year of Saric entices me when we don't know what the market will be like for Marcus Morris Sr. this offseason.  Assuming Kyrie stays as point guard here, I trust our management's ability to find serviceable 3rd string pgs in the past couple years like Wanamaker and Larkin behind Smart as primary backup.

I like Saric, he's a good rebounder and the sort of annoying scrapper we could use on our team. He'd be a passable replacement for Mook.

Minny has about 15 point guards though.

True, but Teague is oft injured and they could use a better starter than Bayless or Okogie..

Don't forget Derrick Rose and Tyus Jones. So, Minny probably says no

I like the idea but I'm getting more leery of dropping a PG as the season goes on due to the games Kyrie is taking off

We are going to need Semi in the playoffs against The Freak.

We still have Smart and Wanamaker. Hayward can also run the point. I wish we had another point guard defender though.

Could we make it Saric and Okogie ( for defensive purposes) for Rozier and Bird and cash ( to cover Birds contract) Not much tax savings but Okogie is locked in for 4 years and Saric for 2 at rookie salaries. Also both could go out as filler in a Davis trade. I think Saric could get some minutes for us in the playoffs.... We could also send out a future second round pick or something...

Could we get P. Beverley from the Clips for Cash, a second round pick, Rozier and Bird? If the Clips are just shutting down the season they might just as well dump Beverley and he would be a good fit here in Boston.

Yes, Ojeleye has become underrated from overrated. He's a superb defender and if his 3P% increases a bit, he's a legit rotational 3&D wing.
