Four games in and the stink of last season is going away.

I wish there had been a way to keep Al and Baynes.

Semi unheralded star of game.

Marcus, Jayson, Kemba and Gordon all brought it but Semi's defense on Giannis was amazing.

We just put a hammerlock on the highest scoring team in the league without probably our 2nd best defender.

The overly negative among you embarrassed yourselves in this thread.

Smart showed amazing qualities tonight and he is truly maturing into a leader. Great effort turning a big fall into an amazing flight.

Tatum, Hayward, Kemba...great fight back as well. I guess without a ball hog, our team was able to fight back together..This is the kind of team I can really enjoy this year..might take plunge and get nba gamepass after a few years of reddit.

This never happened last year. Ever.

My oldest son and I were "just" saying this....so true.

There was a way to keep Al.  Match Philly's offer or at least come reasonably close to it.

My assessment:
1. The role players seem to be playing their role. No one is trying to do too much outside of their role on the team.
2. I really think we can beat this Bucks team in the playoffs. I think we are faster than them and can make them one-dimensional. I also think their defensive scheme can be abused in the 4th quarter because of Walker's work in the pick and roll and shooting.
3. Tatum is committed to taking it to the basket and shooting threes. He will figure out the ability to draw fouls. The refs will also adjust to his play style. He had a bad game tonight, but was still pretty good.
4. Gordon Hayward had a quiet 21-10-7.
5. Smart and Ojeleye are very confident against Giannis on defense.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Man this team is fun. Great win. And with out Brown. I think this team is close. An other vet for the bench would be great.

Lots of bad calls tonight as well but The Celtics just put there heads down and went to work! This looks like a Celtics team.

Great win!

Props to Tatum.  I’ve been critical of him, but he showed up in the second half in a big way.

True.

Paul Pierce was watching Paul Pierce 2.0 closing it out.

Smart does get the game ball

Walker iced it though....Bucks just watched him put them away in the last 7 or 8 minutes.

Starters avg 38 minutes...making me tired just reading that.

Agree, Semi looked good...he's a deer killer...might want to call the game warden on that one.
