About time I make my last pick.

With the 11.21, OKC selects Dennis Schroeder.

I love this pick. Not in the, 'I'm gonna rate your team better because of it' kinda way, but in the 'Im gonna look dumb for not ranking your team higher in 8 months' kinda way.

Truth be told, I thought I should have gone with the other guy I was considering here.

Odds are 50/50 I trade Rondo's German doppelganger tomorrow anyways.

Then again:

PG: Schroeder
SG: McLemore
SF: Shumpert
PF: Patterson
C:  Mahinmi

TOTF consideration?

Not better than:

Beverley
Fournier
Awesome prospect not yet taken
T Jones
J Valancinunas

I flipped a coin, bet on Terrance, it can easily be the other way around.

Coming in this late I did miss on three guys I would've looked hard at, in order of most regretful to least:

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - Really like his chances, also that name.

TIMOFEY MOZGOV - How do you say, "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose" in Russian?

Tyler Zeller - But then I would've been tempted to use my 13th round pick Luke.

You watch the job interview with Cody Zeller? Their family pickup games seem tense.

I flipped a coin, bet on Terrance, it can easily be the other way around.

It's likely high stakes too, with one of them starting in a featured role and the other relegated to fifth big minutes and DNP-CDs.

You may have won the coin flip though, Jones has the larger reputation and outplayed Motiejunas last season. But I can't root for him. Also Donatas's height and back to the basket game are more valuable to us than to the actual Rockets.

That's the way I saw it as well. The thing that gave me pause was Jones 3pt %. 30 is nothing to bank on as a starter, but he's probably the better P&R defender. But if Morey wants shooters, and shooters only, Donutz seems like the choice.

With that pick made, Spurs are offering their 12th and 13th picks for a higher 12th.

If nobody takes that offer, I'll have made it through an entire CB Draft without pulling off a single trade?!?

TRADE

Dallas Mavericks sends: Kenneth Faried and Will Bynum

Houston Rockets sends: Al Jefferson and DJ Augustine

Ohhh, No! I wish Houston hadn't of done that. I really loved the balance of that team.

I think Big Al to Faried is a major downgrade for Houston. A large enough downgrade to take them off my list of title contenders in the West. I was worried something like this would happen with all the criticism Big Al was getting at the PF position.

DJ Augustin to Will Bynum is a small upgrade at backup PG but there is a better backup PG still on the draft board if that was the concern.

I don't really know where Dallas' roster is right now. I liked their team the best before they made either of their two big trades. I thought that first group had the best chemistry and cohesion to it.

Emm, after checking the roster page, I believe the lack of depth at quick forward means Dallas should start Big Al (PF) + Kanter (C) together (not as good as Big Al/Gortat) and keep Kirilenko at SF. Trying to play AK-47 at PF creates too large a liability at SF with Jonas Jerebko.

I have a meeting this morning and won't be around the boards for awhile. So I'm going to make my selection now.

With the 1st pick in the 12th round, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Jae Crowder
2013 CB Draft Champions*: Minnesota Timberwolves
DKC League: Washington Wizards
