The most surprising thing for me so far this year have been the lack of trades, though I think many of us were saying the same thing last year and then trade-a-palooza began in the 6th round.

I've never participated in one of these drafts, but I'm not surprised by the lack of trades, based on values I see being placed on picks in the 1st few rounds.

I'd expect this weekend to see some heavy dealings, as teams try to create better "fits".

PG: Someone that'll make you say, " Savvy pick"
SG: Gordon Hayward
SF: Chandler Parsons
PF: Josh Smith
C: Chris Bosh

TALK ABOUT MY TEAM OR I'LL QUIT!
Sidenote: Pretty sure I'm the first team to start guys named Chandler and Gordon since 1937.

Lol I remember coming in at the 6th round and making like 5 trades that same round.

#2 - can we still see this crazy chucker team?  You can remove the name to protect the guilty.
Okay, here you go?

Danny Granger, Jose Calderon, Tracy McGrady, Jason Thompson, Allen Iverson, Craig Smith, Roy Hibbert, Kyle Lowry, Deshawn Stevenson, Ricky Davis, Dan Gadzuric

Remember this is the summer of 2009 so Lowry, Hibbert and Stevenson had just came off horrific seasons and this GM was pushing:

Danny Granger, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Ricky Davis, Jason Thompson as his core and was shocked that people had him ranked amongst the worst teams in the  CB Draft.

Where's ronaldo when you need him?

Not sure if compliment, insult, or a bit of both.  8)

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=lawsoty01&y1=2013&p2=conlemi01&y2=2013&p3=holidjr01&y3=2013&p4=lillada01&y4=2013

These 4 PGs are a lot more similar than you might think, and one of them was taken half a round later than the other three.

Reason why I chose Holiday over Ty was defense. Holiday's defense is so underrated.

Also looking to trade and will even trade down from 4.3, but only if it's a heck of an offer.

I think Conley's and Holiday's defensive games are well above the other two's defensive games. I think Conley is the best floor general of the four and Lawson the best leader amongst the group. Holiday is the best rebounder of the group by far, its not even close. Lawson might have the best open court game and its probably a toss up between Conley, Lawson and Holiday as to who is the best natural passer of the group.

They all shoot about the same and shooting might be the only thing keeping Lillard in this group comparison. I just don't think he's as good as the rest.

Yeah, honestly, getting Holiday mid 2nd round is about right (I figured late 2nd).  I contemplated putting him on my list at about that point, but felt Conley is just an overall better player.  Conley really does do everything well, he is a vastly underrated player, IMHO.

Lawson was picked about where he should have been (maybe a little higher).  Lillard was drafted too soon.

Also none of the other 3 are no where near Holiday when it comes to being clutch.  8)

I'd take Lawson and Lillard with the game on the line any day of the week before holiday.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Holiday was #6 in "CLUTCH" stats on 82 games only behind Irving, Bryant, Paul, Durant, and Harden.

Holiday hasn't had the opportunity to be clutch.

He was on the Sixers.
