The MBTA/MBCR has just announced that they will hold the last trains on all commuter rail lines out of North Station, until 15 minutes after the end of the game, for games 1 and 2 on Thursday and Sunday.

Customer Service Notice
North Station and all Lines North
“Special Service” offered for Commuter Rail customers following the conclusion of the Boston Celtics vs. LA Lakers games - TD Bank North Garden
Thursday June 5th and Sunday June 8th

Customers are advised that last trains on all lines from North station will be held on both Thursday June 5, 2008 and Sunday June 8, 2008 to accommodate customers attending the two NBA Championship games being played at the TD Bank North Garden.

Customers are encouraged to buy a round trip ticket on their inbound trip to North station either from the local vendor at their departing station or from the conductor on the train.   

Thursday, June 5, 2008
Trains on all lines will be held for 15 minutes following the conclusion of the game. An additional shuttle to Newburyport will also be offered on Thursday only. This shuttle will depart from Beverly following the arrival of train #145; the last train from North Station to Rockport.

Sunday, June 8, 2008 
Trains on all lines will be held for 15 minutes following the conclusion of the game. There will be NO shuttle to Newburyport. Customers are advised to use Beverly Station, catching the last train from North Station to Rockport.

We apologize to the regular riders of these trains for any inconvenience this may cause.
