Ric Bucher just reported on NBA Fastbreak that he received a cryptic message from a source that Childress could wind up with the Celtics.  He said he doesn't know how it would work but added it would be a great addition for the C's.

I would love if we could somehow get Childress here.

There isn't much to say about anything right now.


They need to take a page out of the NFL book.  Let these teams show up with a contract ready to be signed tonight.  Why does there need to be 8 (or what ever number it is) days for FA and teams to just talk?

There was a thread here a couple of days ago saying that Childress was gonna sign an offer sheet from the Wizards. Maybe there's some sort of trade between Boston and Washington that gives us Childress?

I haven't known Bucher to be a guy to throw out wild rumors, but this sounds pretty unsubstantiated to me.

That said, I'd be pretty happy with Chills as our 6th man.  We can always use a little more afro.



Imagine if the Celtics also traded for Beasley?
