Yeah, I'm expecting $60 million ($15 a year) at the very least. I'd be shocked if he went for less in this market.

That's what I'm thinking, he'll sign 4year @ $15 mil. Meaning, saving Celtics $13million this season (including luxury tax).

First, they're not forced to sign him for constant money, so they can sign a decreasing contract. I'm thinking 14,13,12,11 (50) - no link, no inside info.
Second, I'm not sure about Pierce playing a lot the last contract year, it could be a "bonus" for letting 7 millions over the table in 2010-2011, and they could agree to a buyout or just finish the season and retire. It would be 2014, and KG and Ray could have retired the year before.
