I have zero interest in Kaman with his bloated salary, alligator arms and bad hair.

How can we even think of trading away a center that is just 23 years old, averaging 8+PTS/8+REB/1.75BLK per game, is starting to develop a low post scoring presence, is one of the better defensive centers in the league and is signed for this year and 2 more for just $4 million a season.

Perk is one of the biggest bargains in the league. You don't trade assets like Perk for guys like Kaman or Camby.

I like Kaman. He gets his rebounds and blocked shots, but his offense only comes when he's the only big in the front line(Elton was hurt, etc). Perkins is getting way to good to be traded for this. He fits too perfectly with KG to be traded for another big that tries to shoot from outside the paint
Can't stop, Rondo!

Yep, you guys are both right.  Perk is better than Kaman defensively, is contributing on offense, is a perfect fit next to KG, doesn't show a huge ego, and has a modest salary that allows us at least a little financial flexibility.  We can't trade him right now.
