Almost everyone has signed or agreed to sign today. We here that the Clippers blew away KD in their presentation. We have heard nothing other than he will make his decision over the weekend? Like when Sunday night? Obviously we must not have blown him away. This is torture...

I mean...If you're Al Horford and you are strongly thinking about signing with Boston, the best thing would be to do it BEFORE they meet Durant tomorrow. Otherwise Durant has no idea if we have Horford or not.

Sounds like he'll go wherever Durant ends up. Would give OKC time to unload cap space.

Jeez think about this for a second.  You think Horford is going to sign a multi-year deal in OKC to play with Durant for one year?

If they left that meeting without a deal it's a failure.  Do your job Danny!

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
if we dont get durant i really dont care about horford.

do we really want 34 year old al horford here without Durant or some other top 5 player?

I think Al has agreed to join Durant. The only question is whether it will be with us or in OKC.

Imagine how epic it would be to have them hold a joint press conference with IT to announce the new Big 3. It would instantly sell a ton of sneakers and jerseys, something that will not happen if they go to OKC (people already have their OKC Durant jerseys and sneakers).

that would be the same situation for OKC if they got Horford.  No way Durant and Westbrook are there in 2 years, let alone 4.

And this is why it's challenging to put too much hope into free-agent season. ;)

Hope he's going to the Hamptons to sign at the same time KD agrees to. That'd be epic.

If Hortford goes to okc, would you give a 2nd round pick for Kanter to help them clear cap room?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We're much, much better next year which puts us in pole position to use our one remaining max contract slot in 2017 on Kevin Durant or Blake Griffin or Gordon Hayward. We can make ourselves a championship contender and worry about Horford being over the hill when it comes.

Give a second round pick? I would demand Russel Westbrook in exchange for taking on Kanter given that OKC can't sign Horford at all unless they dump Kanter.

Hawks have been involved in trade talks today in an effort to open additional cap space to re-sign Al Horford if needed, sources say.

HOLY Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. JUST SIGN SOMEWHERE ALREADY
