Tatum is horrifying when he’s hot.  These sidesteps and stepbacks with that high release are all but unguardable, and if he’s also finishing at the rim, then forget it.

Nights like tonight are why Tatum is still the player with more potential between him and Brown, despite Brown being currently better due to his better consistency.  Tatum actually has lead dog potential.

Yeah, I agree.

I feel like a strong perimeter defender can pretty much take Brown out of the game unless Boston is making an effort to run.  He is much improved, but his handle, coordination, and decision-making are still not at the level where he can break down a good defense with any consistency.  He’s a secondary player for now.

But I’m high on Brown as well.  Dude has improved every year in this league, and I fully expect him to keep building his game.  Plenty left to learn, and not near his ceiling yet IMO.

Kanter with a near 20/20 in 23 minutes.

Who says we need Drummond, lol. Just give Enes more minutes!

great game after three stinkers.  this team just needs 2 of Kemba, Tatum, Brown or Hayward to have good shooting games and they're a handful for any other team.  more than 2 having a good night -- I don't think there's another team that can hang with them

If we could only get Cleveland or New Orleans (without Zion) every game.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

finally cared to make the extra pass and extra effort on D

this looked like an team that had the intension to win from the get go and was makin sure to do all the little things to make it happen.

At times they looked brilliant. Hopefully they keep the momory about this game alive and don't fall back into the ISO mode - which makes the game harder for everyone on the court.

The only two teams playing last night that had more than one double digit scorer off the bench was the Wolves and the Pistons. Both of them lost.

I'm not sure we are trying to emulate them.

thats the kind of games Kanter use to have against us years ago ,   him and Greg Monroe would destroy us in the paint.  I dreaded our tiny Celtics playing them.

Pels were short-handed, but does anyone think Derrick Favors would have made a difference guarding Kanter?  JJ Redick would have helped with shooting but not defense.  IMO, even if those guys played, C's still would have won by 15-20 points.
