This is what we saw all preseason, rondo came in and killed this ball movement,

Except Rondo was actually moving the ball.

So what did you think of the Rondoless Celts tonight?

Against Minnesota? I could care less. We're going to win that game with our without him. I want to see them against East Playoff teams before I hold judgement.

good win for these guys tonight.  played about as well as they could play and against a not-so-good team missing some of its best players.  good to see them put it away down the stretch.

I think the fact Sully spent most of his time in the paint rather than the perimeter was a much bigger factor in the win than anything having to do with Rondo not being there.

AB and Smart LOCKED the wolves guards down.  They couldn't set up anything.

2-0 w/out Rondo

 ;)

Yeah, Bosh is out...I'll be at the Orlando game. Looking forward to seeing Wright, in what could be his first game.

I can't see how Danny could justify trading Green. He is too good right now.

he wouldnt trade him for picks.  if hes getting younger established players in return then I could see him doing it, but not til the deadline.

probably wont happen.....because why would you trade your younger established player for Jeff, but that would be the scenario where Danny would trade him

Is that Wiggins wearing shades?

I was looking forward to seeing him play, but I'm not sure he was even in the game.

We need to keep Green.  Please give us a discount. 4 year at 13 million a season
The way he's playing now, you only trade him if you want to tank.  Personally I'd be looking to extend him.

Nice win fellas!  3 in a row and if the Nets lose we're officially in the 8 seed in the East.  Somewhat bigger test coming up at Miami.

Keeping with the theme:

We will likely still lose to teams like Memphis. But this is a different team without Rondo.  Everyone is involved in passing the ball. AB , Smart defense is sufficating

Well how about that?  Ainge is actually there, albeit with his head bent down significantly, lol.  You cowardly snake.  This crowd should be all over him!!  What is the matter with you people!?  And another dumb play by Smart.  Ugh.  Tommy says he's getting screwed as a rookie!? :o

And a great pass by Bradley!? :o  What the hell is going on, lol!? ;D

Duuuuudddddeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee really?

What?

You're like irrationally hating on everything Ainge/Celtics these days lol I miss the comments from the always upbeat Beat LA before lol

Well, I am dead inside, sooooo ;D  May I ask you a question?  Isn't the quote in your signature rather sexist?

Haha yes. But I am a philosopher, and the quote is one of the more infamous quotes from a notoriously infamous philosopher in Nietzsche.  It's my signature more out of deference for a philosophical giant than me espousing an ideology.

One of his other famous quotes is "God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him." You prefer this one?  ;D

Actually, if we're talking about God quotes, I loved one from Night or another similar work where concentration camp prisoners were actually JOKING about a higher power.  Iirc, one guy said, "where is God?" and another prisoner replied, "he didn't make it through the screening process after we got off the train." :o  Those aren't the exact words, but I still found it incredible that humor at any level was still present in a place of such indescribable horrors.

I'm sorry for the ranting, but I'm livid.  Not only did the Colbert Report end yesterday, but Rondo was dealt, as well?  It's just too much all at once right now, lol. ;D

I really wanna draft Harrell and give teams hell.

We have been passing the ball with Rondo anyway.

Smart and Bradley's defense though, that was good, can't deny that. One thing I don't miss from Rondo is the lackluster effort on defense.

you can still gauge how well your teams playing without winning the game against a team like memphis.

AB and Smart looked good defensively yes, but I think we'd be a lot more impressed if it was a against a team that didnt have 5 wins and really young backcourt

All five starters had double figures in points and at least three assists plus KO with 3 assists and 21 points off the bench.  That's team ball!

Mannix, haven't you learned by now that NO ONE IS UNTRADEABLE!?  Ainge is still here, for crying out loud.  Unbelievable.  We were playing the TIMBERWOLVES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.  LOUD NOISES!!! ;D
