Any win on the road in the playoffs is a nice win. They did what they had to early in the game to build the lead up enough to coast into the finish line. I am not so sure I liked the coasting, but we now have the power back.

I would like to see them push the ball faster though in order to not allow them to set up that tough 1-2-2. The lob passes to get out of that were hurting us. We should have had quite a few more dunks. Pushing the ball would have created that.

Let's not be too upset about going in their building though and walking out with our first road victory when we needed it the most.

I don't think Detroit can play any worse than this. Only one starter showed up tonight. They missed a bunch of shots they usually nail. Wierd performance.

Well, they couldn't shoot any better the other night. Seems fair they would have a bad shooting performance the next game.  ;D

Need to figure out a better way to attack that zone. I'd say we need to figure out how to gets some calls by the refs but I'm looking at things we can fix.

Without a doubt the biggest, sweetest victory of the season ... and no more "road curse" comments! The Boyz played three great quarters, and hung on in the fourth to get us back to home-court advantage. Awesome job, Celts!

It was so nice to see Rondo not passing up shots.  What a difference that makes.

this may have beeen stated already-- i just logged on and didn't look at any previous posts-- but I felt as though that was not a satisfying win at all. It was sloppy, and Rajon looked terrible (occasionally and the whole 4th) throwing bad passes/lobs while continuing to dribble the shot clock out in the half court.

The bench saved us from having a game 2 repeat. I give the Celtics a B- for their performance and the Pistons thru 3 a D, and in the 4th a B+. I am also quite concerned about that 1-2-2.

I wouldn't go as far as to say Rajon played terrible because he was quite good for 3 quarters, but the sloppyness in the 4th really bothered me, especially from Rondo, Garnett, and Pierce. Too many lazy passes. I thought Ray was more in control in the 4th, though he was the main culprit of lazyness and bad decision making in the 3rd.

Let's clean that crap up.

Celtics finally win on the road. That is definately satisfying after losing at home.

First road win since April 14th.  Wow.

Think about that and how remarkable it is that they're still playing.

Well, as long as you win at home as the Celtics have it can be done. When they lost at home they get their 1st road win. This team wins when they have to so far.

Cute, very cute and yeah, our road warriors won, but that did not look like championship basketball, and that is what we are after.

Scared the crap out of in the fourth quarter.  It was amazing that they kept doing the same bad things on offense over and over again against the 1-2-2.  But, they won, and that is the important thing.  However, it would have been much better if they had buried the pistons tonight.  I know he hit a 3 at the end and his six assists were nice, but I still believe that Ray Allen has to be a better player the rest of the way to win this series.

Also, as someone who is not a KP fan, gotta give him his due tonight.  If the guy played this way in 60 percent of the games, this team might never lose.
