Love the Nikola Jokic pick.

Underrated in value, and a very good player overall.

Denver had playoff-caliber point differential when he was on the court and a bottom 5 differential when he was off - for a rook, that's pretty incredible. Pretty much the opposite of another young guy I can't mention here.

Thanks. I really didn't feel like going the TOTF route again, but he's just too good to pass up all around, and I think he can get to that next level sooner rather than later.

Thoughts on the CJ pick?

Nice scoring, but I think you left some more complete players on the board.

Nah, I love him and I'm encouraged by how well he shouldered the increased workload last season.

This pick might seem a bit surprising to some, but this guy is a monster in the advanced stats department. Top 25 in VORP and WS/48 and top 10 in real plus minus... as a rookie. Per 36 stats of:  16.5 ppg  11.6 rpg and 3.9 apg.

With the 11th pick in the 2nd round, Orlando selects Nikola Jokic

Love this pick.

Does everything you want from an offensive center - shoots, passes, rebounds, scores inside. His defensive plus-minus stats are pretty excellent too.

Oof. Where's MK? I've been on board with Big Honey since last offseason, I never imagined he'd go Round 2 though. That's on me.

I was torn between him and another player, figured a good pg will still be around in the 3rd round

Agreed, McCollum is very good. A young player who can shoot like him is extremely valuable in them modern NBA.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.

Thoughts on the CJ pick?

Solid pick. His 20 ppg scoring is great, and because CJ can play either guard spots, it's leaving you a lot of versatility in the upcoming rounds.

He went top 50, and ahead of a couple of recent All Star big men, so not underrated at all. I'll be watching next season. His metrics are phenomenal, but he also only played 35 minutes once.

There's a pretty good guy that's slipping right now.

EDIT: It wasn't D.Wade.

Was really torn with this pick but with pick 2.14 Indiana Pacers select Rudy Gobert.

Jimmy and Gobert should make a strong defensive tandem.

...Still a guy I see slipping.
