Western Conference finish up +24 on the season over the East.
18th time in the last 19 seasons they have won the season series

http://www.cleveland.com/datacentral/index.ssf/2017/04/nbas_western_conference_tops_e_1.html

The last three times the East won the championship was led by LeBron James. Before that it was the Boston Celtics. Unreal.

That stat isn't that unreal. That just means that the West has won 6 of the last 10 - going back to the Cs championship in '08.

18 of the last 19 season series' is a little crazy, though. And with Cs on the precipice of greatness, I am surely not hoping for that to change any time soon!

I would like the East to finish exactly how it is now:

Toronto vs Washington
Boston vs Miami
Philadelphia vs Milwaukee
Cleveland vs Indiana

Miami is a tough team but lacks the superstar-power of the other two teams.

Then of course let Cleveland and Toronto duke it out in the second round and we can take on winner of Sixers-Bucks.

Wow jazz killing GS!!

Let's see...
Kevin Durant is playing - check
Draymond Green is playing - check
Klay Thompson is playing - check

...wow, it looks like the Utah Jazz has the Warriors' number this year. This could finally be the end for them. I'd love to see the Warriors get an early playoff exit.

The Jazz are fighting for the 3 seed and their next game is vs. Portland.  GS is just coasting.

There's a 32-year old guy named Andre Ingram that has played in the G league for 10 seasons (300+ games).  He was called up tonight by the Lakers for his first NBA game.  His wife and two young kids are there.  He has 14 points in 17 mins on perfect shooting.  Pretty cool story.

Hearing Kevin Durant is declining his player's option for 2018-2019 season and set to become an unrestricted free agent per ESPN

Guess he got sick of losing without Steph Curry. Maybe he's getting ready to join up with Kawhi Leonard to the Lakers? Or maybe he wants to win with Harden and CP3 in Houston!

edit: sike he's just planning to restructure his contract with GSW.
