Come on now guys. This is bordering on the ridiculous. The Lakers lose some games, and suddenly, they're 'overrated'..then they whoop the Spurs at home, and they're 'underrated'. Switch the Heat or Bulls with the Lakers and the Spurs with any other prominent team, and it'll still be ridiculous.
Rondo is 'overrated', because he's had a few off games. He's 'overrated', because he's not been the triple double crazy versatile offensive and defensive dynamo we've seen before, or he's 'overrated' because despite having a league leading assist per game average and league leading assist ratio (% of assists to other available plays), he's not a proficient shooter. That is ridiculous. If you want to tell me Rondo is the league's MVP, than yes..he's overrated. But if you want to tell me that his play over the season puts him right there around the top of the PG's in the league, than he's right where he should be.
If everyone agrees that everyone is overrated, who exactly is doing the rating? And, how much rationality is involved?
New pet peeve: Using the word 'overrated' without using facts or sensible argument to back it up.
