Recently it has become barely impossible for me to use celticsblog.com or the forum section.

Whenever I open the site, TONS of advertising pop-ups suddenly appear, and after a few seconds the main page is redirected to more spam like apps for pc cleaning, Women's health magazine and such.

My antivirus hasn't found any malware on my hard-drive, I have ad-block installed and the latest version of java.

Also, if I'm able to get to the forum section (which is really difficult, as I have only 2 seconds before the page switches to something else), I have a similar problem. For the first few seconds the page seems fine, but suddenly all the thread sections disappear and are replaced with a white background with a green clover in the middle.
See attachment for an example.

Please note that I don't have any other problem with other websites whatsoever.
I've been a fan and follower of this community for years, and this is really bothering me.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Very odd.  I'd contact support@sbnation.com, and describe the problem.

Have you tried deleting your cookies / clearing your cache?  I know that that at times can cause various sites to appear funky.  Also, if you're behind certain firewalls that filter content, that can stop certain parts of the site from looking like they should.

The PC Cleaner one has made it really difficult to use CB on my phone.  It always pops up with one of those messages where it is like "We've found a virus, click to install" and if you click accept or decline it takes you to the Google Play store to download their terrible app.  I know I don't have a virus and it's just a generic message, but it would be great if you didn't do business with someone like that if you have any control over it.  It always makes me nervous that someone will eventually use the pop up as a trojan if you hit any button

Also sounds like you may be having malware issues with your machine. Try installing and running Spybot or a similar program.

sorry to hear that - I don't think anyone else is having those problems so it probably is something local on your computer causing it

but if the problem isn't cleaned up by cache cleaning and stuff like that, you should contact support like Roy said

also, have you tried a different internet browser?  I recommend Chrome or Firefox
