Worst game from Green this pre-season. Still like that he's being more assertive, and 6 nice rebounds to go along with it. Hope he keeps that aspect of his game going.

What I just saw was amazing and I don't ever think I've seen it before. Two minutes to go up by 25 Micah Downs takes a free throw and the entire Celtcs team ran full speed back on defense. I've never seen that kind of competitiveness anywhere before. Then they did the exact same thing in the other direction on defense. With 30 seconds to go they're still playing very hard. And it's not just scrubs trying to make the team. Melo is out there. Sully is out there. Joseph is out there. I'm shocked at what I just saw

I can see why the Celtics kept Joseph.  He has some holes in his game, but there's a lot to like about the way he plays.

Work on that handle and learn to kick out on the drive.  Study Paul Pierce's every move, because that's your blueprint.

Can anyone give me any info on Blatche's contract? Why didn't the C's sign him? I'd take him over Collins or Darko any day.

Gerald Wallace is a beast.

Like his game, he needs court time and confidence to put his game out on the court ... I think he'll be way better than JJJ would have been in the long run

Yes. Wallace is a tough matchup for Green.

Wow, looks like the C's decided to treat tonight's game as the real thing.  So much better effort on both sides of the ball.  The main thing that I notices was our overall team speed as compared to last year.  We look FAST.  Even with KG and PP in the game we look speedy.

If we can keep the aggressive push the ball approach we are going to get a lot of easy buckets which will hopefully overcome a lot of our scoring droughts from the last few years.  So many more weapons this year.

For the nets I thought Blatche and Wallace look like they will be excellent players for that team.  I am still not sold on B Lopez.  How Shaq calls him the 2nd best center in the nba?  I think KG at center is better than Lopez.

Yeah, he doesn't blow you away with any aspect of his game, but he seems like a smart, crafty player.

I think Joseph might have saved his job tonight.

A few serviceable 3s of the Pietrus caliber are going to be released, and I don't think Joseph would have made the final roster without improved play.

I'm not going to get on Lopez's case as the team's high scorer with 14 points in 24 minutes, with 7 rebounds.
