Kind of makes sense for both teams: Marbury and a young guy for Kidd and a pick.

Dallas failed in the playoffs because their system requires a shooting PG; the Knicks need a pass first PG.  Could Kidd make Eddy Curry great?

All of the jerks involved aside, wouldn't the trade help both teams?

Dallas was a real failure last year with Kidd - they need shooters, not distributers...  And maybe Marbury could improve outside the NYC spotlight. Improve his mental health I mean.

Woah. Is this like a reverse Rip Van Winkle thing? I close my eyes, and it's 2001 again?  ;)

It's an interesting idea but I doubt Dallas would ever do that.  Marbury is way to big of a risk.  That would be a great trade for New York though.

They have been traded for eachother before.

Marbury simply doesn't have that type of value.

Great for NY, I agree.

I second that Timepiece!

Only if the "young guy" is Gallinari, and even so I think NY would need to throw in Lee and a couple of picks to make it work. OTH, they're goal is to clear salaries in 2010, so they wouldn't do it unless Kidd contract expires before.
