Congrats, you lost to the Brooklyn Nets because the only play your coach can draw seems to be a three point shot.

Hard for the Celts to score inside on the length of this Nets team.
If Brook Lopez is stopping you, you've got issues.

The Celts do have issues -- they lack size, especially in the backcourt.  Their ability to finish inside against bigger, longer teams is severely hampered, especially if they can't force turnovers and speed up the pace.
I understand Brook Lopez is long, but Brook Lopez doesn't play any sort of defense. In fact, he doesn't play anything that doesn't involve scoring the ball. I mean, he's a 7+ foot guy that's averaged 8 rebounds per 36 for his career.

he blocks shots...
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Jarrett Jack showing us all why Isaiah's future in this league is as a sixth man.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Like I've been saying.

IT/Turner plays hero ball sometimes and its absolutely mind boggling why CBS lets them do it consistently..

I really don't like it when they only dribble, and absolutely no passing, then take a dumb contested shot or a shot that isn't in rhythm...

Oh well.

IT has been huge for us, but I've been saying if we were going to get a decent offer for IT, I would take it.

There's a reason why the Nets are a 2-win team.

Their bench features one, maybe two guys who belong in an NBA rotation, that's why.

I wonder what it feels like to be a fan of some team the league actually WANTS to see win, like a Miami or a Cleveland. I've just gotten used to getting routinely screwed by the refs that it feels normal at this point. The refs aren't the reason we lost this game- our pitiful lack of effort is- but it certainly doesn't help when seemingly every call in the last 5 minutes goes against us (let alone that awful stretch of officiating during the Dallas game). Hopefully this wakes up the team nonetheless and teaches them they can't just waltz into a game against a bad team and walk away with the win.

Well, I hope everyone took a screenshot of the Atlantic standings today...

This is more of a reflection on how good we are rather than how good BKN is. They're in the bottom 5-7 by the year's end. We overachieve due to coaching, buy-in, and play-makers on the defensive end. They still suck, no matter the angle you're looking from (unless it's wild bias to feed a personal narrative bloated with cognitive distortions).

Giving up 111 points to Brooklyn is completely inexcusable.  Losses don't get more shameful than this

Pump the brakes on that top seed.  Teams that know how to force the Celts to play a slow, half-court game, who can take advantage of the Celts' lack of size, can beat this team up.

Pathetic defense. Pathetic loss. Abominable refereeing. It's not going to be an easy several weeks sans Marcus.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.
