I'm driving home and can only see play-by-play updates, but there seems to be an absurd amount of offensive fouls being called on us. Good calls or no?

They just called one on a Crowder corner 3 --- one of those terrible "you let your legs go forward as you came down from the shot" calls.

Other than that, they haven't been too bad.

Why foul when 11 seconds have already run off the shot clock?  Sometimes Jae doesn't seem that bright.

Congrats, you lost to the Brooklyn Nets because the only play your coach can draw seems to be a three point shot.

Hard for the Celts to score inside on the length of this Nets team.
If Brook Lopez is stopping you, you've got issues.
Lopez has been doing that all year to players.

Let's get ahead of this one -- do not blame this loss on that awful call on the Crowder 3.

Can I blame it on terrible officiating? I hate to do it, I always try to avoid that low hanging fruit but these refs were really bad all night, from the beginning of the game. That was a HUGE bad call. HUGE.

Defense cost us this one, refs just suck normally.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

No that wasn't the reason the C's lost but it's just so aggravating to see something like that. Refs cannot just change the momentum of games by messing up calls it isn't right and they should be held accountable

  • GOT IT!!!
Go look at the boxscore. The fact it's only a 7 point game is another indictment of how good CBS is.

It was a horrible call, but the Celtics came out flat in the 1st half, probably lazy after the win over the Nets the other night, and then blew countless opportunities down the stretch to get ahead.

Well if morale was at an all time high during the last game, this one certainly represents a sobering kick in the face.  Smart out indefinitely, Brooklyn showing us they aren't necessarily as bad as expected. Bummer.

Earlier in the game they made some really awful ones. One on Isaiah which was mind boggling

If Brook Lopez is stopping you, you've got issues.

The Celts do have issues -- they lack size, especially in the backcourt.  Their ability to finish inside against bigger, longer teams is severely hampered, especially if they can't force turnovers and speed up the pace.
I understand Brook Lopez is long, but Brook Lopez doesn't play any sort of defense. In fact, he doesn't play anything that doesn't involve scoring the ball. I mean, he's a 7+ foot guy that's averaged 8 rebounds per 36 for his career.

There's a reason why the Nets are a 2-win team.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

The refs have been bad, but if you spot a 20 point lead to the Nets, you deserved to lose.

There have been way too many possessions where the Celts just look hapless to prevent the Nets from scoring.  That's on the Celts.  Point blank.
