Trying to change my tune with how I look at Tatum. He's definitely gotten bigger in the upper body, lower body remains thin.

I will say this, the kid looks big out there. Tall, long, and getting some muscles now and he's only gonna get thicker.

Stands to reason we could be looking at the Future Star power forward for years to come for the Celts.

I cringe at the thought, but it actually may be his natural position in this "new NBA"

Since he's A) Not a power forward, and B) Power forwards don't even really exist anymore, I'm gonna say no.

I think you should just change the poll to whether he will be a top 10 forward. Although the distinction between small forwards and shooting guards (e.g., Jaylen Brown) is often blurry too.

On this year's team i do think he will play a lot of small ball 4. So if that counts, then yes I think he can be extremely effective for us.

When he gets a rebound we should be able to push the tempo and run a lot more this year. Also, with Horford gone I think we might be better served with less high pick and roll. Leaving an opportunity to create more offense through the J's.

I think he essentially takes MM spot this year(swing?) and yes he has the potential to be a 22,8,4 40% from 3 type player at that position which I consider top 5.

He has a shot to be a top 5 player in the league.

That's a TP, and we'll said. Thats the point in wanted to make, he's our most likely player to play major minutes at big forward, probably a better name for it.

21ppg and 7rpg are realistic very soon.

Maybe 23ppg and 6rpg on 40% threes.

Listening to Open Floor Podcast, on which they are saying Tatum has been a big disappointment for team USA. That his decision making is slow. That “guys” (players? coaches) in Vegas said he is very overrated, lacks upper body strength and athleticism to be as good as the media proclaims.

Everyone has an opinion I guess. I think he can reach all star level but is still a season or two away. He needs to get stronger and finish better. Obviously.

He is no where near consideration for top 5 status.

Considering he’s a small forward, I’d say no.

Tatum is better suited at the PF position.

Maybe not now, but as he grows older and his body gets stronger, Tatum is the ideal PF in today's NBA.

What we're concerned with is now lol. He's still very much an SF. And even when he bulks up I'd prefer him at SF, the size and girth advantage he'd have over opposing SFs would be LeBron like.
