I really like him. I think his ability to finish at the basket and draw fouls is 100% legit. He still has plenty of work to do in some areas, but his potential is very high.

He has a decent ceiling

Plus he was free. Essentially Philly Gave us Romeo Langford as payment for not drafting markelle fultz. Lol

TP, I love reminding myself of this, and you worded it well haha.

the name sounds like triva question years from now ....who was the kid that was the biggest disappointment...LOL

will remember him for his name only ....

I would n't be surprized if he is almost as useless as Fultz....Karma has a way of payback .   He has all the personality of a rotten onion .

Pretty harsh, give that he hasn't played one game yet in the NBA.

The kid has a huge volume of work is a good kid and involved in community stayed in Indiana.played ina tough conference and with his strong hand injured all season.
What would make you think a bust?.He is a shot creator and has ideal height, weight and wingspan, A deceptive first step and covers quite a bit of ground while playing through contact at elite level.Only 19 y
Staying in Indiana also added pressure  the kid averaged 16 pts and was game planned against and targeted.Played in loud arenas with packed fans home and away games.
Jaylen ,Jason ,Edwards ,Grant ,Semi and Smart young and accomplished by hard work and trainers.
They will keep the kid working hard in weight room ,drills and shooting. The results for Jason and Jaylen 3 playoff runs and Marcus all defense.
Boston had Kelly Olynck go 40 million and Rozier 58 million.,Turner got 70 million .

I just want to see the kid play before I make any judgements. Hopefully he's the man!! If they could ever figure that out early and he's legit than Brown and Smart become potential trade chips or he does.

Was looking at some pre-draft analysis of him. He's actually a very good on-ball defender. He may surprise the skeptics, but it will take some time. I certainly don't expect him to contribute this coming season. GWilliams and Edwards are upper-classmen who are ready for some NBA minutes. Langford is in a development year.

Before joining Indiana his game was compared to.

Bradley Beal, RIP Hamilton, Evan Turner.

Can create and score at all 3 levels. Willing defender.
ok fine

We have a lot of young wing talent.

What we need is young 4/5 talent.

Watched Jaxson Hayes last couple of summer league games.  I think Griffin got a gem.  He even canned a 3 point shot and looked good doing it.

Beal amd hamilton are terrible comparisons. Langford will not reach their levels.

Turner. Yeah. I can see that.

Scorer at all three levels. That nonesense disnt evem start to become a discussion point till boston media started claiming it after romeo was drafted

I've been watching a bit more videos of Langford. He is starting to remind me a bit of Paul Pierce. Why not, I've seen A LOT of Pierce and Langford has that kind of upside. I think we got a steal and DA won't be throwing anything around after this season because he missed out on Herro. He will earn some time off the bench. We really needed a shooter but he'll have to do. Hopefully, Edwards will fill the shooter role.

Langford needing the ball to be effective, mediocre off ball game and laziness (highlights, scouting)

Concerns me a bit. He is still very young is a plus

Risky pick with high reward potential if all things click

I’m not too concerned about Langford’s shooting.  It was roughly equivalent to Jaylen Brown’s year at Cal, and Langford had a thumb injury.  Give him a year with the C’s coaching staff and a healthy shooting hand, and I see no reason to believe he can’t become a successful NBA shooter.  Maybe not elite, but enough to be a weapon and further open up his great driving game.
