Brown and pieces/picks for Zion would put us in position for a Tatum/Zion/Beal Big 3 next offseason. Just saying. Hopefully Tatum/Beal are “working it” like Kyrie/Durant did in Brooklyn with Harden…

All it would take is Zion forcing his way here, telling them unequivocally he wants to be a Celtic like AD did with LA. Move Brown, Langford, Nesmith, Richardson, Horford and a ton of picks in order to get Zion (would take 2-3 trades to clear the books, leaving us with the following):

Pritchard
Smart
Tatum
Zion
Timelord

Since Zion is still on a rookie contract, if Beal declines his player option then we’d have room to sign him just barely:

Smart/Pritchard
Beal
Tatum
Zion
Timelord

One heck a core and Big 3. We’d have no trouble bringing in ring-chasing vets…

Not enough.  Probably would take Tatum + to get Zion.

Yup.

Zion is hollywood. As said above, he'll bolt for LA or NY at the first opportunity.

He's also overweight, and it would be foolish to bank everything on a guy who is at high risk of a short career.

Can't understand Celtic fans obsessed with getting other teams players. If Tatum continues to improve, all we need to contend is have the right mix of role players and chemistry around him.

Yep. He’s going to join AD on the Lakers as Lebron starts to wind down

I might be the outlier here but I’d rather have Brown over Zion. I’m probably missing something here

I think you need to trade Brown, Smart, and all of your first round picks for Zion.

Give 'em whatever they want minus Tatum.

I'd give them Tatum in a straight swap.

I'm even more of an outlier I'd rather have Brown and I'd rather have Ingram over Zion. Zion is going to eat himself out of the league if he keeps going the way he is.

A mysterious (and anonymous) NBA Redditor added to the reports, taking a shot at Williamson for how he's handled his first few seasons with New Orleans.

Griffin basically has no relationship with Zion and they don't really speak.

Zion showed up fat from the day 1 of summer league after we drafted him, and turned on the organization with how cautious they were over his knee injury. Showed up even fatter to the bubble and and we hid another injury at the request of his family.

Now the guy who's been fat for his entire NBA career, won't show up to any of the team's offseason workouts together, ghosted BI and Vinson back in Phoenix, was in Vegas for summer league, didn't meet up with his teammates and has no relationship with the front office.

I've said it before but it almost impossible for these past two years to have gone any worse. A fraud POBO. A franchise player who's been fat or injured for his entire time here, his psycho parents, and somehow less leadership ability than Anthony Davis. At least AD showed up to team tryouts. Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again. is ridiculous.
