Why Brett Brown is not pounding Embiid in the post every trip down is beyond me. He's playing right into our hands by letting him play mainly out on the perimeter.

Philly are shooting terribly, but I think they'll take only down 11. The Celtics shooting will cool down, at least from the field, and Philly will heat up, but hopefully not enough

I don't think we were on fire exactly, and I hope we shoot better.
We weren't really, but they were around 48% at half-time I believe and that's pretty good for Celtics considering their available offensive talent.

nice dish by smart, good find for the 3 from Terry...

This game is weird...it feels like philly is slow, playing in slow motion.
Hard to describe, but they don't seem to have playoff level intensity.

They haven't played basketball in 6 days, which I think may be a part of it.

This is ultimately their first game in a truly hostile playoff environment. The young guys are clearly affected by it. I thought this would happen in Miami, too, but I failed to realize that half of the arena would be empty.  ;D

Yeah everytime Embiid doesn't try to bully Al or Baynes it is a win for us.

ha, no other team in the nba gets any sympathy from me as a celtics fan.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Long lay off for Philly and weak competition from The Heat. This is really their 1st playoff game. We just came out of a war with The Bucks!

On the downside Rozier has completely played himself out of our price range. On the upside, he would fetch a nice return in a trade.

They’ve decided they’re going inside to Embiid since they are bricking it from outside

As soon as I say this, they go to Embiid down low two possessions in a row  :(

How about the fact that the defense and playmaking has gotten so much better with Smart in.

Embiid looking unstoppable now.  Need to weather -- C's offense has to continue to answer.
