Can we activate Jaylen at halftime if Smart is out?

Uh, yeah, Embiid just kicked Smart in the nuts Draymond-style...

This is what I thought as well. But not sure yet. Let's hope that was the case (as weird as it is to say).

Maybe -- hate to say it but I hope so.  Doesn't quite explain all the fist-clenching and shaking.

Not a good sign on Smart. We can't catch a break.

It was a groin kick on that last play, not his thumb.

Maybe it was both. He kept shaking his hand and grabbing his palm near his thumb.

Looking back at the Embiid dunk play, his hand definitely got kicked as he was falling down. It looked like the outside of his hand, though, not the inside near his thumb. Hopefully that's the case and it's not anything to do with his thumb.

Smart has made poor decisions tonight thus far.

Yeah, and taking off whatever protection on his wrist that he did just before he got hurt was the worst one.
I think it was just a wristband

That first half from Marcus Smart was a shocker shooting wise...he will probably come up with some Marcus Smartesque plays in the 2nd half to galvanize our team though

Well it was a good 1st half.  Al, Rozier, and Tatum all produced on offense.  We seemed to catch Philly really out of sync to start the game, they were rusty.  We gotta keep up the pressure on them, because they are an explosive team.

I'm guessing it would have hurt regardless of the prior hand injury though judging from that contact with Embiid's foot.

The one guy we can't afford to lose is Horford. We have absolutely no replacement for him.

Might as well suit up Danny Ainge himself.

McHale and Bill Russell are in the house too. Suite them all up. Tommy too.

Perfect half needed by remaining C's (even if Smart is healthy).  C's are outmanned and if Sixers start to bury their shots, this game will get tight in a hurry.   Sixers are not a 3-15 team from 3.
