I really liked Roby coming out in the draft. He's got ideal measurements and if he can ramp up his his consistency he could be a good rotation player for years.

His issue wasn't "weed" his issue was he refused to play defense. Dude can get buckets but gives it right back on the other end.
ok fine

On the Thunder signing Justin Patton today, it's a three-year deal worth $5.3m, according to league sources. This year has $700k guaranteed, year two is non-guaranteed and year three has a team option. He brings the roster to 14 and actually puts OKC back over the tax by $921k.

I like Justin Patton a lot. I'm glad he is getting another shot. Smart move by the Thunder on a low-cost, high upside player.

He could have a Hassan Whiteside type resurgence later in his career that make the Thunder look like geniuses. He is a very different player though.

I mean, he seems to use it a lot.  He just got suspended 5 games for it, which means it’s the third time he’s failed a test in his career.  Tons of NBA players use it, but it seems to take a certain type of character to not care enough to avoid getting caught, which probably means he uses it significantly more than the average NBA player.

I agree, he has a ton of potential, needs to get stronger and more consistent.  I think he could be a Kelly O type of player

I think most players use it a lot. I think the league purposely picked on Beasley and ignored others knowing it was going on. Someone was gonna be sacrificed to show the league was enforcing a rule.
