I love seeing teams run off of made baskets. Great play by Parsons.

What exactly is a breakfast defector?  Is there an east and west breakfast divided by the breakfast wall, or is it someone who divulges what exactly Taco Bell puts in their let's call it food? ;D

If the Mavs end up being done (Rondo goes to LA, Dirk retires) maybe Chandler leaves. He would be exactly what we need.

You mean Tyson? I would have loved to have him five years ago, but I don't like him as an option at his current age for our team.

Hey, he hit a jumper! :) Honestly, if Dallas can't find a way to use him properly, then shame on them, imo.  TP for starting the thread, btw, as I notice that you don't have nearly enough of them (TPs). :)

And if anyone wants to see just how important a rim protector is, just look at this Houston team this game with and without Howard. Dallas couldn't score with him in, and now with him in foul trouble they're pretty much scoring at ease.

One of the main complaints I hear from some of the Mavs fans is Carlisle's strict control and how he doesn't like to deviate from the plan until absolutely necessary..sounds like some complaints we use to see here a few years ago..lol

Has Dirk's defense gotten so bad that Dallas can no longer build a good team defense with Dirk in the starting lineup?

Is it time for Dirk to move to a bench role? Become a 6th man?

It's more the combo of Ellis-Parsons-Nowitzki.

You mean, there are actually merits to getting the key players of the opposition in foul trouble?

Sorry for being obnoxious, lol. ;D

I don't know. Dirk can't cover his own check. His rotations are slow. He can't recover after the initial help so defense falls apart every time Dirk is forced to play help defense. He can't switch to non-bigs. His transition defense is terrible. He is very bad at closing out on shooters.

Surely the worst starting PF in the league defensively speaking.

Oh man, lol. ;D Imo, the coach should make the most of the players he has and develop a style of play that, well, plays to their strengths, not 'if you don't fit my system, you suck'.  Wow.  I thought that Carlisle was better than that, but he sounds like Doc 2.0.  Ugh. ;D
