Surprised Michael Owen is on the bench instead of Berbatov.

I don't really rate Owen at this stage of his career. I would be uncomfortable at the thought of bringing him on in a game of this magnitude. Too many anonymous performances in recent years. Far more poor performances than impressive ones.

Too unreliable, too big a risk to bring on.

I would have liked to have seen some fresh legs come on up front for Hernandez. Pity.

Looking at the bench, I don't think there is any more changes Man Utd can do after bringing on Nani and Scholes.

The other reserves are the keeper, Smalling, Anderson, Fletcher and Owen.

I don't see either of the midfielders making a difference from hereon in.

Nice goal by Messi. Lot of curl on that powerful shot.

Looked like Van der Sar couldn't see the shot until too late. Vidic was in sight line.

They really should think of putting a defender on him when he's dribbling in that spot. Same with the third goal.

Congratulations to Barcelona. Deserved winners.

Absolutely fantastic performance.

Even Fergie acknowledged it with a smile totally devoid of bitterness. You can't beat a team that plays like Barcelona played today. If I wore a hat, I'd tip it to them.

Not forgetting Van der Sar ---   a great career is at an end. Thank you.
